Abstract

Optimal road infrastructure development is very important in supporting economic activities and community mobility. Sidodadi Village faces problems in determining the priority of road infrastructure development due to budget limitations and manual decision-making processes. To overcome this, this study proposes a decision support system based on the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The SAW method is used to provide objective recommendations based on several criteria, such as road status, road conditions, access to public facilities, drainage status, and housing density. This study includes needs analysis, system design using UML modeling, implementation with Visual Basic and MySQL, and system testing using the Black Box method. The results of the study indicate that the decision support system developed is able to provide recommendations for infrastructure development priorities more systematically, transparently, and efficiently than manual methods. Thus, this system can assist the government in making more targeted and effective decisions in road repairs in Sidodadi Village.
