Abstract
In Asahan district landslides often occur because in this area there are still highland hills and also the current high rainfall and uncertain weather conditions allow landslides to occur in highland areas where the disaster is still relatively not handled or prevented effectively. Surrounding communities and road users in highland areas who are potentially affected by landslides cannot receive early notification which causes loss of time and property, even loss of life. Early warning of landslides is needed to minimize casualties or losses for the community or highland road users, so that prevention or handling can be more efficient and effective. Landslide early detection tool using the TILT sensor, the tool works if there is ground movement, if the ground movement results in a slope of the ground below 45o then the tool will send an SMS to the disaster management officer to inform that there will be a landslide disaster and give a signal and trigger a sound like a siren.
