Abstract

ABSTRACT

EXPERT SYSTEM FOR DIAGNOSIS OF DAMAGE ON NON-INJECTION MOTORCYCLES USING WEB-BASED FORWARD CHAINING METHOD

Expert systems are part of artificial intelligence that consists of the knowledge and experience of many experts that are entered into a knowledge base. Motorcycles are a means of moving transportation that uses engines, have two main types: 2-stroke engines and 4-stroke engines. Named 4-stroke engines because one engine rotation consists of four piston strokes. However, due to the lack of knowledge about motorcycle maintenance and repair, problems and damage to motorcycles often occur that can interfere with rider activities. To overcome this, an expert system is needed that uses the Forward Chaining method to help diagnose damage to motorcycles so that the work process can be carried out quickly.
The results of the study at the Ramdan Workshop can be concluded that experts can diagnose damage to non-injection motorcycles so that users can find out what is experienced by the motorcycle and are able to provide solutions for handling damage to non-injection motorcycles that have been diagnosed.
