Abstract
ABSTRACT
USE OF EMBEDDED SYSTEMS IN WEB BASED RICE IRRIGATION
PROCESS
By : Tri Hartono (Nim : 20210035)
Agriculture is the main source of livelihood for Indonesians living in rural areas.
The land is used by local residents for rice fields. In agricultural systems, water is
very important to meet the needs of plants. Meanwhile, in the provision of water
needs for the plants themselves can be done with an irrigation system. The use of
the NodeMCU Microcontroller, which is used as the Blynk control system, uses the
NodeMCU as the opening and closing of the floodgates. In order to open and close
the floodgates can be done remotely without having to go into the fields. Meanwhile,
to determine the limit of the water volume level in the fields, the water level is used.
And with this system, it can also help farmers to manage regular air feeding
schedules without having to open and close the irrigation fields to wait for the air
to reach its maximum limit. This system can run well if it is supported by good
irrigation network infrastructure.
