The Population and Family Planning Control, Women's Empowerment, and
Child Protection Office of Asahan Regency has implemented a Family Planning
Village (KB) selection system to determine villages that are eligible to be selected
as KB Villages based on established guidelines. However, the selection process is
still carried out manually and in writing, which has the potential to cause human
error, inefficiency, and lack of organization in data archiving. In addition, the
absence of an integrated system and the non-use of weights for each criterion
hinder the effectiveness of the selection. To overcome these problems, this study
proposes the implementation of a Decision Support System (DSS) with the MFEP
method in selecting the best Family Planning (KB) villages in Asahan Regency.
From the results of calculations using the MFEP method, it was obtained that the
best KB Village is Asahan Mati Village with a value of 4.5. With this system, the
selection of the best KB Village can be carried out more effectively and support
more appropriate decision making by the Population and Family Planning
Control, Women's Empowerment, and Child Protection Office of Asahan Regency.
