Abstract
Motorcycle is a mode of transportation that can be accepted by the general public, especially in Indonesia. But with the number of people who use motorbikes, the crime of motorcycle theft cases will also increase, especially in neighborhood 1 of Sijambi village, Tanjungbalai City. With the motorcycle tracking device using NodeMCU and Ublox Neo 6M GPS module can create a motorcycle security system with location tracking integrated with android smartphones. In this study the tool works by telling the location of the vehicle by utilizing GPS (Global Positioning System), which can send the address of the vehicle to the motorcycle user through an application, namely Blynk with the help of a smartphone. With the smartphone always connected to the motorcycle tracking device, the user can see and know the position of the motorcycle at any time. The smartphone used must have the Blynk application and be connected to the internet network in order to access the GPS through the Blynk application. In the Blynk application there are also On (start the engine) and Off (turn off the engine) icons that can be used remotely. This motorcycle tracking device will later be placed in the motorcycle division with NodeMCU as the microcontroller and Ublox Neo 6m as the GPS module. This tool works when the motorcycle owner sends a command by pressing the map icon on the Blynk application, then this tool will display the location where the motorcycle is located. To find out the exact location of his vehicle, the motorcycle owner can see directly from the application using his smartphone. Then the motorcycle owner can find out the exact location where the motorcycle is.
