Abstract
The rapid development of the business world encourages business people, including Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), to improve operational efficiency. The Maichnn Dimsum Shop located in Tanjungbalai experienced problems in the management of dimsum inventory which was still done manually, causing a mismatch between customer demand and stock availability. Delays in supply from suppliers and unintegrated recording result in accumulation or shortage of stock, resulting in business losses and decreased customer satisfaction. This research aims to apply a Supply Chain Management (SCM) system in managing dimsum stock to optimize the distribution flow of goods from suppliers to customers. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and literature studies. The system was designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, and tested using the blackbox method. The results of the implementation show that the SCM system developed is able to provide convenience in the ordering, stock management, and reporting process quickly and accurately. With this system, Kedai Dimsum Maichnn can minimize the risk of shortage or excess stock, improve operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making. This research is also expected to be a reference in the implementation of SCM for other MSMEs in the culinary sector.
