IMPLEMENTATION OF SCM METHOD IN MANAGING PRODUCTION MATERIALS FOR THE BUNUT BRAND AT THE KARINA STORE

Increasingly tight business competition requires every company, including small and medium enterprises (SMEs), to optimize supply chain management (SCM). This study focuses on the implementation of the SCM method in managing production materials for the Bunut brand at Toko Karina, an SME engaged in the production and sale of sandals and shoes. The main problem faced is the imbalance in raw material inventory, which causes waste or shortages of stock, and the absence of an integrated system in supply chain management. This study uses an information system-based SCM method designed with web technology using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. This system is designed to assist in planning, managing, and monitoring raw materials more efficiently, from procurement to distribution. With an integrated SCM system, it is hoped that Toko Karina can minimize waste of materials, avoid shortages of stock, and increase the efficiency and accuracy of raw material needs planning. The results of the study show that the implementation of the SCM system can increase the operational efficiency of Toko Karina by ensuring the availability of raw materials according to production needs. In addition, this system also simplifies the decision-making process based on more accurate data, so that it can increase productivity and the quality of the products produced.
