Good company management will determine the development of a company. In
addition, it is also necessary to plan the right inventory or inventory in order to
achieve maximum profit. In producing, we need a planning and production
strategy that is right on target so that there are no errors that result in losses for
PT. Agro Putra Lestari as one of the largest palm oil distributors in the Kisaran
area, which in its daily life receives large-scale palm oil and distributes large
quantities of palm oil to the Kisaran area and outside the Kisaran city. By
utilizing Java NetBeans as a program writer, and MySQL as a database storage,
the authors designed a Desktop-Based Inventory Application Design system and
with the Desktop-Based Inventory Application Design to manage incoming and
outgoing stock of goods, it is hoped that it can help PT. Agro Putra Lestari to be
able to control incoming goods, outgoing goods and see the remaining stock in the
warehouse directly or in real time in order to reduce misinformation that occurs.
