Abstract

Information technology, which is currently developing rapidly, has now been used in various fields, including psychology, education, government, agriculture and health. This motivates professionals to continue building computers with the goal of helping people or even surpassing them. Computer programs called expert systems are created to imitate the knowledge and skills of a human expert on a particular topic. The main goal of an expert system is to offer answers or suggestions that are comparable to those made by human experts. The forward chaining method is one method that can be used to develop expert systems. The decision-making approach known as the “forward chain” begins by considering premises or facts before arriving at a final conclusion. Problems that occur at the Population and Civil Registration Service can be resolved by using an expert system application for diagnosing NIK validity on e-KTP. The system is designed to operate on a variety of devices. This system will provide solutions to the community regarding problems that occur. The author uses flowchat design, Entity Relationship Management and UML (Unified Modeling Language). The aim of carrying out this system design process is to meet the needs of end users and provide a clear picture and provide a complete design.
